Covers the full pipeline of game development using the Unity 3D (v.4) game engine.  In this first textbook of the E.G.G. (Entire Graphic & Game) series, Professors Jeff Huff & Brian Burton (co-creators of a very successful game development degree at the University level) show how to create a simple physics based game from design, to 3D modeling, to texturing, and into Unity, finally publishing for PC, Mac, Web, as well as iOS & Android devices.

In this textbook you will learn how to make Plinko, a classic game. Students will learn to design, model, texture, import, program, modify for mobile devices, and publish the game.  Designed for those new to using 3D modeling, texturing, and game engines. This textbook includes the entire pipeline for 3DS Max to Photoshop to Unity.

Approximated development time in a college course: 3 to 5 weeks.

I’ve bought this ebook in and I’d like to know if there are any download section for it such as unity packages or 3ds max files of book example.
    Thank you for you books.

  • Dr. Burton says:

    Hi Lorenzo,
Jeff and I discussed the issue of download files at length. We decided that since the book is intended as a textbook to not make downloadable unity or 3DS files available. The whole point is that the student learn the entire pipeline. Making the files available would make it much more difficult on the teacher/faculty using the textbook.
